Traditionally handmade
Biáng biáng noodles are famous throughout China. They originate from the northern part of the country, where noodles are a popular fast food. Traditionally, the noodles are made by hand – just as they are in our restaurants, along with all our dishes. The word biáng comes from the sound the noodle makes when it is slapped against the table.
We founded Biáng! because we wanted to bring the authentic flavors of our home region to Finland. The first Biáng! opened at Stockmann in Helsinki in 2018, and since then, we have been bringing the flavors of northern Chinese cuisine to people in Finland. We make the food we know best, and our employees know the story behind every dish. The authentic experience is complemented by wines selected by our own sommelier.
Conscientiously handcrafted
The Chinese character for “biáng”, written with 56 individual brushstrokes, is the most complex in Chinese language. Writing this character beautifully depends upon artistry and attention to detail. in the same spirit, our chefs prepare our dishes with great effort and finesse to assure flavorful food experiences for our customers.
